In March 2024, Teach For Belgium celebrated 10 years of advancing educational equity with an event that brought together 250 partners, teachers, and education professionals. The event featured the NEST project and its implementation in Belgium, among other sessions.
The celebration highlighted the findings of the NEST project, emphasising the importance of structured support for new teachers and the need for strong mentor training. A special workshop introduced attendees to NEST-inspired practices, offering practical tools to enhance teacher support in schools.
Her Majesty the Queen also attended the event, showcasing the significance of these efforts in creating a more equitable education system. The focus on NEST showcased the Belgian pilot partners’ commitment to empowering novice teachers and improving education for all students.
